2:8 Now ¹  immediately, when Jesus realized in his spirit that they were contemplating such thoughts, ²  he said to them, “Why are you thinking such things in your hearts? ³

Warnings About Experts in the Law

12:38 In his teaching Jesus ⁶  also said, “Watch out for the experts in the law. ⁷  They like walking ⁸  around in long robes and elaborate greetings ⁹  in the marketplaces,
